Mr. Gonzalez is a Staff Scientist with four years of fisheries experience and two years of experience in the technology sector working within geographic information systems (GIS). He has led teams of field crews working in freshwater and brackish environments, and GIS teams tasked with spatial data management and visualization for navigation. His graduate studies focused on the development of tools for natural resource agencies to use in assessing, monitoring, and restoring freshwater ecosystems. His studies took place in dry and ephemeral streams of Southern California. Mr. Gonzalez has worked on various renewable energy projects throughout the United States. He has dipped his toes in city redevelopment, workforce assessment, and is a strong GIS analyst who contributes regularly to environmental permitting documents and biological assessments for projects located throughout the United States.
