Housing is a defining issue for California as it continues to grow. Catalyst has been supporting the development of a large community in southern California; it may be the last new “city” that is approved within Los Angeles County owing to the lack of open space.
Catalyst brought expertise in fluvial geomorphology to determine protective measures for the Santa Clara River, and was part of the largest grading project By working as an integral member of the team the efforts were thorough and readily approved by regulatory agencies overseeing the work, while allowing the grading operation to proceed without lengthy delays.​​​​​​​
