Ms. Merickel is an ecologist with over a decade of experience working with freshwater, marine, terrestrial, and wetland ecosystems.
Her graduate studies focused on a parasite-host system involving an invasive gastropod, two species of trematodes, and native waterbirds in the Mississippi River.
Ms. Merickel has worked on traditional and renewable energy projects throughout the United States. She is a strong technical writer and contributes regularly to environmental permitting documents and biological assessments for projects located throughout the United States..
